Krass! Ich glaub, wenn man mal irgendwann am Ende ist mit der Technologie, also an der absoluten High-Tech Grenze, dann ist man bei japanischen Schreibmaschinen angekommen... kein Wunder dass die sich schon um Roboter kümmern, werden wir noch an Mikrochips rumbasteln.

pixeln würde ich sagen. es gibt eben nicht nur programmierer, die ihr fach verstehen, sondern auch digitalkünstler ;)

Ach, man kann bestimmt auch sehr weit tricksen. Wäre mal eine coole Aufgabe, für einen Contest.
Zuerst die 256 Farben bestimmen, mit denen man das Bild am besten annähern kann. Und dann ein möglichst geschicktes Dithering Muster berechnen, das die Farbverläufe abbildet, aber nicht die feinen Details zerstört. Das könnte ansich schon cool aussehen, ein bisschen Handarbeit wird aber wohl noch nötig sein.
Noch geiler wäre es natürlich, dass als post-pro Filter zu implementieren. Natürlich muss man dann sehr stark aufpassen, dass man die Palette möglichst selten ändert und dass durch das Dithering Muster möglichst wenig Unruhe in das Bild kommt. Das könnte dann aber schon sehr cool aussehen :) (ähnlich wie halt damals XIII den Comic Look salonfähig gemacht hat.)
